We help people gain practical, industry-relevant skills that create pathways to employment and career growth without barriers to quality training.
The foundation of Zobuchwepheshe began with community-based computer literacy training.
Before establishing the academy, Unathi Yeki worked with Seloh Foundation, formerly known as Themba Connect, where he facilitated non-accredited computer literacy classes for members of the community.
The experience of teaching others created a deeper understanding of the importance of computer skills in education, employment and everyday life.
However, it also revealed a personal lesson:
Knowing how to do something is valuable, but having the knowledge, and passing it to others hence honouring the quote "Teach a man to fish and you fed him for his whole life" is equally important.
This motivated the founder to pursue formal computer training, followed by Facilitator and Assessor training, while also developing his entrepreneurial knowledge through NYDA and SEDA business management training.
These experiences eventually led to the creation of Zobuchwepheshe Skills Training Academy.
